Tiny home development breaks ground near Henderson’s Historic Water Street District

HENDERSON (KSNV) — A long-vacant parcel near downtown Henderson’s Historic Water Street District is set to become a small community of tiny homes aimed at expanding attainable homeownership.

Blue Skye Development LLC, in partnership with Larson & Associates Building Company, LLC, officially broke ground on “Six on Tin,” an infill housing development at 323 Tin St. The project will transform an underutilized townsite lot into six tiny homes, each under 400 square feet.

The homes will be built using modular units from North Las Vegas-based Boxabl. They are expected to sell below $300,000 and are aimed at workforce buyers, first-time homeowners, retirees, and others priced out of traditional single-family housing…
