LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A man accused of killing the mother of his children and her husband inside a Smith’s grocery store appeared in court Thursday morning with a bruised and battered face.
Alejandro Estrada, 43, was hospitalized, according to Las Vegas Metro police, after bystanders held him down until officers arrived at the scene of the shooting in the Silverado Ranch neighborhood.

One of Estrada’s eyes appeared to be nearly swollen shut as he appeared in Las Vegas Justice Court for an outstanding traffic warrant.
“Mr. Estrada has a more serious case that’s on calendar Monday morning,” Las Vegas Justice of Peace Harmony Letizia said.
