LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A 14-year-old boy was taken to a Las Vegas hospital in critical condition after he was hit by a vehicle Monday night.
According to a release from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, officers responded to the intersection of East Lake Mead Boulevard and Marion Drive at around 6:15 p.m. on Monday, May 18.

The collision involved a pedestrian, the 14-year-old boy, and a 2011 GMC Terrain driven by a 43-year-old woman. Police said evidence at the scene showed the teen was crossing East Lake Mead near the intersection of Marion.
The collision happened when the teen entered the path of the GMC, which was traveling west on Lake Mead. The front of the GMC hit the teen on his left side and projected him onto the roadway, the release said…
