Boulder City planning commission votes against data center proposal

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A data center complex proposed for Boulder City was voted against by the planning commission on Wednesday in a 6-to-1 vote, but it doesn’t spell the end for the proposal.

Boulder City-based energy company Townsite Solar 2 has long sought to transform a portion of its property. Now it will go to the city council with a recommendation for denial.
