Donte Wright was named Rivals’ MVP and the No. 1 Day 1 performer at The Opening Finals in Beaverton, Oregon. The Miami commit finished ahead of a group that included Louisville receiver Ja’Hyde Brown, safety Adryan Cole, Texas receiver Easton Royal and Georgia tight end Jaxon Dollar. The recognition came during the first day of Nike’s national showcase, which returned this year after a six-year hiatus.
