Miami man confesses police officer’s pickup truck was unlocked, so he stole guns, bracelet, drives: Deputies

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. — A 21-year-old man told deputies that a police officer’s Miami Police Department-issued white RAM 1500 was unlocked with guns, a gold bracelet, external hard drives, and a backpack in Miami-Dade County, according to a deputy’s report.

Stephon L. Perry confessed to burglarizing the police officer’s assigned unmarked pickup truck before sunrise on July 22 in the West Little River neighborhood, according to the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office deputy’s arrest report.
