MIAMI — A $400 million transformation at Jackson Memorial Hospital is set to open this week, bringing a new state-of-the-art emergency room designed to deliver faster, more personalized care.
The hospital unveiled its new 178,000-square-foot emergency department, making it one of the largest in the country. It’s three times the size of the current ER, which is already one of the busiest in the nation, marking a major expansion in care and capacity.
