NORTH LAUDERDALE, Fla. — No charges have been filed after a New Jersey man was killed in a Walmart parking lot.
Bart DiGuglielmo, 62, was shot to death in North Lauderdale around 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 30, according to the Broward County Sheriff’s Office. He was shot once and taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The shooter, an adult woman wearing a white shirt, has not been identified. She stayed at the scene and told detectives that she shot DiGuglielmo in self-defense. Investigators found that DiGuglielmo and the woman had argued over a parking spot before she opened fire.
Homicide detectives are still looking into the fatal shooting. It will be up to the Broward County State Attorney’s Office to decide whether the woman will face charges, according to authorities.
