Florida state and local law enforcement agencies have joined Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina, and Tennessee to conduct “Operation Southern Slow Down,” a weeklong traffic initiative aimed at cracking down on speeding and aggressive driving on major interstates and highways within the southern states.
The initiative is meant to raise awareness of the dangers and consequences of unsafe driving behaviors.
