Man accused of fatally stabbing 22-year-old roommate in Hollywood after drinking alcohol together

HOLLYWOOD, Fla. — Detectives accused a 28-year-old man of killing his 22-year-old roommate after drinking alcohol together on Sunday morning in Hollywood, records show.

A witness who also lived in the house in the Boulevard Heights neighborhood told police officers that “he had been consuming alcohol” with Andres Perez and Pedrom Matom in his bedroom since about 1 a.m., on Sunday, according to the warrant.

Since Perez and Matom wouldn’t stop arguing, the witness said he asked them both to leave his bedroom near North 72nd Avenue and McKinley Street, according to the arrest warrant…
