HIALEAH, Fla. — A 74-year-old woman was arrested after police say she fled the scene of a crash in Hialeah that left a motorcyclist injured and in need of an airlift to a trauma center.
Maria Theresa Contreras, of Miami Gardens, was arrested Tuesday by the Hialeah Police Department and faces one count of leaving the scene of a crash with no serious injury, according to jail records.
