HALLANDALE BEACH, Fla. — Residents in parts of Hallandale Beach were navigating flooded streets and parking lots Wednesday as rain continued to fall, leaving some searching for creative ways to stay out of the standing water.
Along Southeast Second Street, water had receded somewhat, but significant ponding remained as more rain came down.
Parents were seen carrying children on their backs to reach the bus stop and even lifting them directly onto the bus so their feet wouldn’t have to touch the water…
