HONOLULU (KHON2) — Just hours after a deadly crash occurred on Moanalua Freeway, a serious hit-and-run collision involving a moped in the Honolulu area took place early the morning of June 6.
Police reported a 27-year-old moped rider was traveling on South King Street when he was broadsided by an unidentified driver making a left turn onto McCully Street.

It happened around 3:33 a.m., Honolulu Police Department said.
