HONOLULU — Ava Cepeda sank the winning uphill putt and collected her ball from the cup without any facial indicator of what she’d just accomplished.
“People say all the time, they can’t tell if she’s doing good or bad,” her older sister Mia Cepeda remarked near the Oahu Country Club clubhouse some minutes later. “She stays extremely calm.”
