Monday Weather | Breezy trade will continue through the week with muggy weather expected for the weekend

HONOLULU (Island News) — Moderate to locally breezy trade winds will continue across Hawaii through the end of the week as high pressure remains north of the islands.

Passing showers will continue to move in with the trade winds, mainly affecting windward and mountain areas during the overnight and early morning hours. Most leeward communities will see drier weather.

Rain chances will begin to increase on Tuesday, with a bigger change expected from Thursday into the weekend. Moisture from the remnants of former Tropical Storm Douglas will move across the islands, bringing more widespread showers and higher humidity…
