HONOLULU (KHON2) — Following witness testimonies all morning on Friday, July 24, it was an explosive day at Circuit Court as five people, including Lt. Gov. Sylvia Luke, were indicted by an Oʻahu grand jury.
“Mrs. Luke has been indicted with criminal conspiracies to commit bribery, bribery, as well as falsifying candidate committee reports. We note that she has a high ranking governmental position, as we all know,” said David Van Acker, prosecutor for the Department of the Attorney General.

Witness included members of the of the Attorney General’s Special Investigations and Prosecution’s Division. Former representative Ty Cullen also testified earlier in the morning.
