HONOLULU (Island News) – The City and County of Honolulu has released an online form for Oahu residents to self-report damage to their homes from Tropical Storm Lala.
According to the Oahu Department of Emergency Management, the purpose of the form is to collect information that will help county officials and their partners better understand the damage that occurred and impacts in the community.
The self-reporting tool is not an application for relief programs or services. The department emphasized that reporting damage is a voluntary process and is not a substitute for reporting damage to an insurance agency, nor does it guarantee disaster relief assistance…
