KALIHI, Hawaii (Island News) — A 29-year-old man is facing criminal charges on suspicion of a robbery where a man was threatened with a knife and had his car stolen Friday morning in Kalihi.
According to the Honolulu Police Department, the incident happened at about 6 a.m. on Friday, July 24, when a 56-year-old man discovered the suspect, later identified as 29-year-old Tisan Betiru, inside his parked car.
Police said when the victim confronted the suspect, the man took out a knife, threatened him and drove away in the stolen car. The victim was not injured…
