HONOLULU (KHON2) — Two Hawaiian monk seals recently died on Oahu’s North Shore, including a three-month-old pup, NOAA Fisheries reported.
Officials said a team found the dead pup, later identified as RV36, in an unattended fishing net floating west of Mokulēʻia Beach Park.
RV36 was born in April at Kaʻena Point State Park. Experts are currently working to determine his cause of death…
