HONOLULU (KHON2) — As then-Hurricane Lala made its way closer to Oahu Saturday night, KHON2 broke the story of a 74-year-old woman whose roof was ripped off her Kalihi Valley home by powerful winds.
Though the structure itself is beyond repair, recovery efforts continue in the aftermath of the storm.
