HONOLULU (KHON2) — As you know “Beat Shazam” – a musical TV game show on Fox – is back. Airing tonight, August 24, 2026, is “couples nights” and features 2 teachers from Oahu.
We got to catch up with Darrin Chinen and Jerilyn Ornellas about their experience on the show. They tell us they reason why they applied to be contestants was because of love.
“So the main reason why we’ve done Beat Shazam was to help support our future wedding. We recently got engaged, and you know, being teachers here in Hawaii, we know – we all know that having a wedding here is very expensive.
