HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – The city will begin a four-month emergency project along Maunawili Road in Windward Oahu to repair damage beneath the roadway and stabilize the slope.
The project, awarded to Prometheus Construction, will begin on Monday, Oct. 12. Work will take place weekdays from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., excluding holidays.
Crews will clear vegetation and debris, install erosion-control matting, place anchors and micropiles, repair drainage infrastructure and guardrails, and apply shotcrete, officials said…
