HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Three Senate proposals to crack down on illegal fireworks are headed to the House for review.
SB1324 would increase penalties for illegal firework usage, especially if blasts result in death or injury. Implementing harsher penalties would also allow for law enforcement officials to process low-level cases and prioritize high-level cases more efficiently.
