Laie woman pleads guilty to assault in adopted daughter’s death case

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – The Laie woman accused of beating and starving her adopted daughter to death has pleaded guilty to assault.

Court records show Sina Pili, 40, changed her plea on Tuesday.
