HONOLULU (KHON2) — A 20-year-old woman who was seriously injured in a collision in the Kaneohe area on Wednesday, April 22, has died.
According to the Honolulu Police Department, on April 22 at about 12:40 a.m., a 17-year-old man was driving north on Likelike Highway with two 20-year-old women and a 19-year-old man in the car. After passing the Wilson Tunnel, he lost control and crashed into the guardrail on the right shoulder.
A 20-year-old woman sitting in the backseat was ejected onto the roadway and transported to a hospital in serious condition by Emergency Medical Services. It is unknown if she was wearing a seatbelt…
