HPD arrests suspect in Haleiwa robbery after week-long investigation

HONOLULU (Island News) – The Honolulu Police Department (HPD) arrested the suspect involved in a robbery incident that occurred last week in Haleiwa.

The incident occurred on Monday, April 20, 2026, at approximately 4:10 p.m. at a business on Kamehameha Hwy.

It was reported that an unknown man entered the store, went behind the counter and allegedly brandished a silver handgun. The suspect removed a cash box and left the scene on foot after allegedly shoving an employee to the ground…
