HOUSTON — A Houston woman is facing a murder charge after prosecutors allege she drove away in an SUV while a man was working on the vehicle, dragging him down a northwest Houston street to his death.
The incident happened Thursday morning near Sheraton Oaks and Antoine Drive. Houston police say the victim was either holding onto the SUV or was dragged before falling off about 50 yards away, near Holly View Drive.
The suspect has been identified as Martha Padilla, who court documents allege was the victim’s girlfriend or wife. Her two children were inside the SUV at the time of the incident…
