Wes Anderson is coming home.
The Houston-born and bred director of such hit films as “The Grand Budapest Hotel,” “Rushmore,” “Fantastic Mr. Fox,” and “Moonrise Kingdom” is returning for a fund-raiser on July 17 that is also a celebration of his career. He will be on hand at the Hobby Center’s Zilkha Hall to introduce five of his short films, including the original “Bottle Rocket,” which became a feature film, as well as “Castello Cavalcanti,” “Hotel Chevalier,” “The Swan,” and “The Private Dining Room of the Police Commissioner.”
