The Texas Department of Public Safety has identified Eddie Alvarez, 31, of Baytown as the man killed in a crash on Texas 73 Tuesday.
The crash occurred around 4:35 a.m. Tuesday when an Autocar Truck Tractor failed to yield the right-of-way at a crossover intersection on Texas 73. In doing so, he came into the path of the Honda driven by Alvarez, who then struck the truck from behind, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
The 26-year-old Autocar driver from San Juan was taken to The Medical Center of Southeast Texas to be treated for injuries that were not life threatening, DPS said…
