Plumes of smoke were visible Wednesday night from Interstate 10 near Baytown due to flaring at an industrial facility.
About 6 p.m., Houston TranStar cameras showed smoke coming from the direction of the facility at 9520 East Freeway.
The petrochemical manufacturing company that owns the facility, Raven Butene-1, said a “process upset” had caused flaring and smoke, according to the Community Awareness Emergency Response website…
