Houston, Texas Weather Outlook: November Heat Oct. 26–Nov. 1

HOUSTON, TX — Houston is heading toward the beginning of November with another stretch of warm fall weather already taking shape. Temperatures are expected to reach the mid-80s later this week, with abundant sunshine and little indication of rain in the immediate forecast. The conditions come ahead of NOAA’s extended weather outlook for Oct. 26–Nov. 1, which will help determine whether the warmth could continue into the new month.

According to NOAA’s Climate Prediction Center, the eight- to 14-day outlook issued Sunday, Oct. 18, covers the final six days of October and the first day of November. The outlook evaluates whether average temperatures and total precipitation are more likely to finish above, near or below normal. Texas-specific probability categories from the corresponding maps have not yet been verified for this report.
