ROSENBERG, Texas – Two people are facing charges after 18 packages of stolen meat were found inside a car during a traffic stop on Tuesday, according to Rosenberg police. Police said the vehicle was pulled over because it was reported stolen out of College Station, Texas. During the traffic stop, police said they found beef steaks, brisket and pork chitterlings valued at over $500 inside the car. The meat was reportedly stolen out of Katy and Houston-area grocery stores, police said.
