HOUSTON — Supernova Furniture filed for Chapter 11 protection in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas on April 15.

In the filing, under Supernova Management Inc., the Humble, Texas-based retailer listed estimated assets of $0 to $50,000 vs. estimated liabilities of $1,000,001 to $10 million to an estimated 100 to 199 creditors.

While a top 20 unsecured creditors list had not yet been shown among filed documents in the court docket, the initial filing’s creditors matrix included the following home furnishings brands: Tempur-Pedic, Ashley Furniture Inds., Avalon Furniture, Bassett Mirror Co., Classic Furniture, Crown Mark, Furniture of America Texas, HiEnd Accents, Leather Italia, Man Wah, MotoMotion, National Wholesale Furniture, Nova Furniture, Polaris Furniture, Sanitary Mattress Co. and Sleep Design…
