The Houston Fire Department had a busy overnight on Monday after battling two fires in the southwest and southeast areas of the city.
The first fire occurred at an apartment complex in southwest Houston, just before 10 p.m., at Bellerive Drive and Marinette Drive. HFD said at least six units of the three-story apartment building were destroyed.
Thankfully, no injuries were reported. HFD said it believes the fire was started after someone left food on the stove. Officials said the Red Cross was notified to help those affected by the fire…
