Driver Killed After Tesla Rolls Into Tree In Spring

At approximately 3:40 a.m. on May 10, 2026, deputies responded to a crash involving a Tesla along Lexington Road in the Spring area north of Houston.

Investigators say the driver was traveling at a high rate of speed when he failed to negotiate a curve, causing the vehicle to leave the roadway, roll over multiple times through a ditch, and crash into a tree.

The impact caused the airbags to deploy, and emergency crews used the Jaws of Life to remove the driver after the vehicle’s electric doors would not open…
