A woman who was assaulted in a Texas Medical Center parking garage last week fought her attacker to a standstill after being stabbed at least seven times and then escaped him by opening a car door with her toes, officials said Monday.
A Harris County prosecutor described the harrowing fight between the woman, a Houston Methodist Hospital employee, and her alleged attacker, Perry Green, as Green made his first appearance before a district court judge on charges of aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon and aggravated kidnapping.
