Long Beach Police are investigating a suspicious death after a woman was found unresponsive inside a hotel room at the Hyatt Centric in downtown Long Beach early Saturday morning.
At approximately 12:30 a.m. on June 20, 2026, Long Beach Fire Department personnel requested police assistance after responding to a medical emergency at the hotel located at 285 Bay Street.
According to information from the scene, firefighters were performing CPR on an unconscious woman who was in cardiac arrest. First responders also observed trauma to the woman’s head, prompting law enforcement to begin investigating the circumstances surrounding her death…
