The county Board of Supervisors Tuesday approved a $20,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for the 2023 road rage killing of a food delivery driver in La Mirada.
The reward, requested by Supervisor Janice Hahn, is connected to the fatal shooting of 30-year-old Nestor Tlahuel Mendez. He was driving westbound on Rosecrans Avenue between Valley View Avenue and Marquardt Avenue near the border of La Mirada and Santa Fe Springs on March 29, 2023, authorities said.
According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, Mendez was shot once in the left shoulder by a person in another vehicle at about 9:13 p.m. He later died from his injuries. His 15-year-old cousin, who was riding with him, was not injured…
