Unlicensed Cannabis Operator Accused of Failing to Report $80 Million in Sales

LOS ANGELES – A cannabis operator accused of running unlicensed dispensaries across Southern California failed to report roughly $80 million in sales while dodging nearly $7.1 million in sales taxes owed to the state, California Attorney General Rob Bonta said Wednesday.

Pin Hsien Hsu is facing a 66-count felony complaint tied to what prosecutors described as an extensive number of unlicensed cannabis dispensaries in Los Angeles, Orange, and San Bernardino counties.
