Lawrence County places traffic signs ahead of Rock the South festival

LAWRENCE COUNTY, Ala. (WAFF) – Lawrence County officials have placed portable message boards along Highway 24 and Highway 157 approaching Moulton ahead of Rock the South week.

Thousands of visitors are expected to travel through Lawrence County to the music festival in Decatur. Lawrence County EMA has been coordinating with Mayor Jolly, Police Chief Knight, Fire Chief Phillips, and partner agencies to enhance traffic safety along major travel routes leading into the city.

Through mutual aid partnerships with Marion County EMA and Morgan County EMA, portable traffic message boards were secured and strategically placed at key entry points into Moulton.
