Alabama nonprofit hosts summer camp for adults with autism

MADISON, Ala (WHNT) — What started with one woman’s mission to help her autistic son is now changing lives across the community.

Rosalyn Roper knows that making friends can be hard for many adults with autism. And many feel left out even though they want connection. So her nonprofit Kelcie’s Place put on a summer camp as part of its mission to change that.

That camp just wrapped up after a week full of activities and unforgettable memories for adults with special needs.
