MORGAN COUNTY, Ala. (WAFF) – A Decatur work-release inmate who walked away from a job site on Friday has been located and taken back into custody, according to Morgan County Sheriff’s Office officials.
Authorities posted a photo of 56-year-old Derrick Dewayne Brown being taken into custody by investigators and narcotics agents Sunday afternoon. Brown left a job site in Trinity on Friday and did not return to the Morgan County Jail.
