The Alabama Department of Transportation is inviting North Alabama residents to help shape the state’s transportation priorities through 2050 during a public meeting next week in Huntsville.
ALDOT’s North Region will host a public involvement meeting on Tuesday, July 15, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the North Region Office, 1525 Perimeter Parkway. The informal open house will allow residents to review plans, ask questions and provide comments that will help develop Alabama’s next Statewide Transportation Plan.
The long-range plan evaluates Alabama’s transportation network and identifies maintenance and improvement strategies through 2050.
