A 20-year-old man has been arrested after a drive-by shooting hit a home where a woman and her 6-year-old son were inside.
Madison County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the 200 block of Cotton Bayou Drive in the Bermuda Lakes Subdivision on July 20 around 1:30 a.m. after reports of shots fired. Detectives say they found the occupied home had been hit by gunfire and a parked car nearby was also struck.
Detectives recovered multiple spent shell casings and documented damage to the home. Surveillance video helped them identify a white BMW believed to be involved in the shooting. The sheriff’s office said more video showed multiple armed people outside a home on Edisto Circle exchanging gunfire…
