MERIDIANVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) – Law enforcement, including an armored SWAT vehicle, were back in the Bermuda Lakes subdivision in Meridianville today.
Multiple deputies and a SWAT vehicle were seen outside a home in the neighborhood. At this point, it’s not clear why investigators returned or whether today’s activity is connected to a drive-by shooting reported there earlier this week. No details have been confirmed.
Earlier, Madison County Sheriff’s Office investigators said they made an arrest after gunfire hit an occupied home on Cotton Bayou Drive around 1:30 a.m. Monday, July 20.
