HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — A Huntsville man was charged with assault following a shooting that took place at a gas station along Greenbrier Parkway on Wednesday.
HEMSI spokesperson Don Webster told News 19 that the shooting took place at the RaceTrac gas station located at 6464 Greenbrier Parkway NW around 7:44 a.m.
Huntsville Police said that when officers arrived, they found a man with a gunshot wound. HPD said that Alfonzo Hayes, 55, of Huntsville, was found at the scene and detained as part of the investigation…
