City of Madison moving closer to demolishing Sutton apartments

MADSION, Ala. (WHNT) — The City of Madison is ramping up its efforts to tear down the Sutton apartments that have been vacant for months.

The complex is abandoned, boarded up and has broken windows in once prominent apartment homes.

According to records provided by the City of Madison, Sutton is owned by Lurin Real Estate Holdings.
