Huntsville man arrested after being accused of kidnapping victim during robbery

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — A Huntsville man is facing robbery and kidnapping charges after police say he threatened a victim with a knife and drove away with him inside a vehicle.

Huntsville Police responded to a reported robbery in the 2100 block of Brandon Street on Friday, August 7, around 1:30 p.m. Upon arrival, officers found the victim who was not injured.

According to police, the suspect, identified as Mirandez Marquez Hill, 36, of Huntsville, approached the victim in his vehicle and asked for money and cigarettes’.
