NEW MARKET, Ala. (WHNT) — A proposed wastewater treatment facility in Madison County is no longer happening.
Integra Water confirmed to News 19 that it has canceled plans for a plant along the Flint River near New Market’s Berry Hill neighborhood.
In a statement, the company says it has “realigned our long-term planning and decided to withdraw the discharge permit application for the Winchester Road site on the Flint River. While wastewater is a necessary and important part of sustainable growth, we understand the community’s concerns.”…
