Madison County Schools has purchased 272 acres to accommodate rapid enrollment growth in the Tennessee Valley region.
Madison County Board of Education members unanimously voted to buy 272 acres in the Hazel Green and Toney area at its Sept. 4 board meeting. The property sits in the fast-growing northwest part of the county, near the intersection of Pulaski Pike and Patterson Lane, south of Grimwood Road and west of Murphy Hill Road.
Officials said the property’s size and location will support long-term growth planning.
